Building in Nevada City

Nevada City is the Nevada County seat, known for its historic downtown and Gold Rush-era buildings, county offices, small businesses and foothill homes on sloped, wooded lots. Foothill properties bring their own conditions: sloped and wooded lots, tighter access for materials and equipment, occasional winter snow at higher elevations, and wildfire-area building requirements for exteriors, vents, roofing and decks where they apply. Permits for work in Nevada City go through the City of Nevada City building department (or Nevada County for properties outside city limits), and we handle the applications and inspections as part of the job.

How we work

• Walkthrough first, then a written scope and estimate before any work begins
