Education Facility Construction

Classroom renovations, campus capital improvements and facility repairs for school districts and colleges across Northern California. Licensed general contractor since 1983.

School projects run on a calendar that does not move. Work has to be finished before students come back, and when it cannot wait for summer, it has to happen safely around classrooms that are in use. TDI® has worked for school districts, elementary schools and a community college campus across Northern California, and we plan every education project around that calendar.

What we build for schools and colleges

  • Classroom, office and support-space renovations
  • Flooring, slab and underground utility work
  • Ceilings, doors, finishes and accessibility upgrades
  • Campus capital improvements planned around breaks and the academic year
  • Repairs after unexpected damage: rebuilt and ready before students return

How we work on campus

We build the schedule backward from the day the space has to be ready. Disruptive work is planned for breaks, weekends and after-hours. When work has to happen during the school year, work zones are separated from students and staff, and access is coordinated with your facilities and administration teams. You get one point of contact and regular updates from start to finish.

Why districts and colleges call TDI®

  • Licensed general contractor for commercial, industrial and residential work since 1983
  • Experience inside occupied school and campus buildings
  • Written scopes and estimates that fit district approval processes
  • Native American owned (Cherokee), a fit for supplier diversity goals
