Terms of Service
Who These Terms Apply To
These Terms of Service apply to anyone who visits tdiusa.com or contacts TDI USA, Inc. to request services. By using this website or engaging with our team, you agree to the terms described here. If you have questions before proceeding, call us at (877) 688-0866.
Service Area
TDI USA, Inc. operates as a licensed contractor in the state of California. We do not guarantee availability outside our current service area. If you contact us from a location we cannot serve, we will let you know promptly rather than leave you waiting.
Estimates and Proposals
Any estimate, quote, or scope of work we provide, whether delivered in person, by phone, by email, or through this website, is not a binding contract. Work does not begin, and TDI USA, Inc. assumes no service obligation, until both parties have signed a written work-authorization form. That signed document governs the actual service relationship, including scope, pricing, access requirements, and scheduling. If there is ever a conflict between something stated informally and the signed authorization, the signed document controls.
Payment Terms
Payment terms, accepted methods, and any deposit requirements are specified in the work-authorization form for each project. We coordinate directly with insurance carriers when a loss is covered under a property policy and the homeowner or property manager has authorized us to do so, but the property owner remains ultimately responsible for any balance not covered by insurance. We do not sell or share your financial information.
Scope of Work and Changes
Restoration and reconstruction projects can evolve as hidden damage becomes visible after demolition or drying. If conditions discovered during work require a material change to the original scope, we will document the change and obtain written approval before proceeding. Verbal approvals are not sufficient to authorize additional costs.
Liability
TDI USA, Inc. operates under California contractor licensing requirements and carries the insurance required by state law. Our liability is limited to the direct scope of contracted work. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, code violations unrelated to our work, or damage caused by a homeowner’s failure to follow documented recommendations (such as delaying mitigation after a water loss).
Insurance Coordination
When you authorize us to work with your insurance carrier, we will document the loss, photograph affected materials, and communicate with your adjuster on your behalf. This coordination is a courtesy service. TDI USA, Inc. makes no guarantee of claim approval or payment amounts, those decisions rest with your carrier.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises from work performed under a signed authorization, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith before pursuing formal action. California law governs any dispute that cannot be resolved informally. Venue for any legal proceeding shall be Sacramento County, California.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at tdiusa.com. Continued use of the site or our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
