Who We Serve · Gaming & Hospitality

Gaming & Hospitality Construction

Renovations, guest room upgrades, back-of-house and capital improvements for casinos, resorts and hotels across Northern California. Licensed general contractor since 1983.

A casino or hotel earns its money every hour it is open, which is every hour. Construction has to fit around guests, gaming floors, restaurants and the staff who keep them running. TDI® has worked inside multi-story casino resorts and hotels across Northern California and understands what it takes to build without shutting the property down.

What we build for gaming and hospitality

  • Guest room and corridor renovations: finishes, bathrooms, flooring, ceilings, doors, phased by floor or wing
  • Back-of-house and employee areas: offices, break rooms, storage, service corridors
  • Restaurant, bar and amenity upgrades
  • Capital improvements: flooring, ceiling systems, slab and utility work, exterior repairs
  • Repairs after unexpected damage: getting rooms and amenity space rebuilt and back in service

How we work around guests

We plan the project around occupancy, not the other way around. Work is sequenced by floor, wing or section so the property keeps selling rooms and serving guests. Noisy and disruptive tasks are scheduled for the lowest-impact hours, work zones stay clean and separated from guest paths, and finished sections are turned back over as they are completed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work while the property stays open?
Yes. Gaming floors, hotels and restaurants rarely close for construction. We phase work by floor or wing, keep work zones away from guests, and schedule noisy tasks for the hours that affect the property least.
What kinds of hospitality projects does TDI® take on?
Guest room and corridor renovations, back-of-house and employee areas, restaurant and amenity upgrades, capital improvements such as flooring, ceilings and finishes, and repairs after unexpected damage.
How do you handle guest-facing areas?
Guest-facing work is planned room by room or section by section so the property keeps selling rooms and serving guests. Finished areas are turned back over in stages instead of all at the end.
